Congratulations to the Theatre Student of the Month for December... Laurensky Louissaint from Lake Sumter State College! Laurensky was nominated by his advisor, Aspacia Lindstrom. Here is what Aspacia shared with us about Laurensky:
"Laurensky Louissaint has demonstrated excellence through his dynamic work on stage and his dedication to the craft of acting. His performances as Wolfgang Bertram (Gods’ Man), Roscoe Dexter (Singin’ in the Rain), Algernon Moncrieff (The Importance of Being Earnest), and Haemon (Antigone) reveal an impressive range of emotion, style, and character depth. Laurensky brings both humor and heart to his roles, captivating audiences with his expressive performances and genuine stage presence. Laurensky’s work extends beyond acting. His contributions as the Social Media Coordinator for the Lakehawk Dramatic Society have helped elevate the visibility and energy of the LSSC theatre community. His content reflects the creativity, talent, and teamwork of his peers, helping connect students, faculty, and audiences alike. His passion for theatre and his commitment to excellence make him a standout student and performer.
