A big congratulations to our SGA Student of the Month for November... Taria Newkirk from Florida State College at Jacksonville! Taria was nominated by her advisor Stephanie Castro.

Here is what Ms. Castro shared with us about Taria: "Taria is the South Campus SGA Vice President in addition to being very active in attending FCSSGA Leadership Conferences. She maintains a high GPA and is very active in her local community volunteering and representing her college and organizations well.

Taria takes initiative when it comes to meeting with her campus leadership and stakeholders to keep them in the loop of upcoming events as well as share student feedback and concerns. She has enjoyed getting to attend a few of the FCSSGA Leadership Conferences and always takes the information learned at them and shares it with her team at her campus, in an effort to maintain and improve student success and involvement."
