A big congratulations to Rebecca Ott, Pasco-Hernando State College, for being recognized as the FCSAA SGA Division Student of the Month for December! Rebecca was nominated by her advisor, Laura Raposa.

Here is what Laura shared with us about Rebecca: "Rebecca is a returning student to Pasco-Hernando State College. She originally started in 2015 after graduating from high school and, as we all know, life sometimes takes us down different roads. In Spring 2020, Rebecca returned to PHSC and has persevered through the pandemic, working full time and maintaining a full-time course load. Rebecca joined our collegewide Student Government as the Vice President of our Spring Hill campus in August of 2021. Her application to SGA describes her vision to offer support and resources to assist the student body throughout their education.

Rebecca recently co-chaired a virtual Coffee Talk event for all students this month. The event created a space for students to come to relax, talk, ask questions, and learn more about SGA. She also created a survey to solicit feedback from students after the weekly SGA meetings to work with the other executive board members on improving future meetings."
