We're throwing it back to 2022 for our December Publications Student of the Month! Congratulations to Elaia Sainz from Miami Dade College for being selected as our Publications Student of the Month for December!!! Elaia was nominated by her advisor, Alicia Garcia. 

Here is what Ms. Garcia shared with us about Elaia: "Elaia has been working diligently to get the magazine's YouTube channel off the ground, in addition to serving as co-director of the Media team. With her guidance, Urbana made its first short film, a tiny horror movie called "The Padron Incident." Elaia is consistent in meeting deadlines, and we love her outstanding organization! Her work ethic and methods are an example for both first and second-year staff members.

In addition to her work on Urbana, Elaia is a Miami Dade Honors College student who participates all over campus, including as the co-vice president of Phi Beta Lambda, which supports future business leaders of America. She is in charge of external relations for society. She is enthusiastic, respectful, and creative in everything she does. She has also been very helpful in supporting other Urbana teams, like Social Media. Cheers to Elaia!"
