Model UN Student of the Month: June 2023

Congratulations to our Model UN Student of the Month for June... Daniel Fellows from College of Central Florida! Daniel was nomintaed by his advisor John Anene! 

Here is what he shared with us about Daniel:

"Mr. Daniel Fellows was the President of Model United Nations club at College of Central Florida. He
demonstrated exemplary leadership for the Model United Nations club at the college. He won
Outstanding Position Paper Award and Outstanding Delegate Award for representing and role-playing
the Russian Federation during the Fall 2022 Southern Regional Model UN virtual conference, October 7
& 8 2022.  Daniel also won Outstanding Delegate Award for representing and role-playing Albania during
the Spring, February 24 2023, Florida College System Model United Nations conference.

Mr. Fellows was also active in community volunteer activities focused on applying some of the United
Nations Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs, at the local level in Citrus county. He was a youth
volunteer in Central Ridge local library in Beverley Hills, FL thereby highlighting SDGs 4 on enhancing
quality education at the local level. In addition, he was active in the Citrus County Blessings which was a
local food Bank to feed the hungry. Daniel, hence, contributed to SDGs #2 in helping to alleviate hunger
and bring about food security at the local level. Mr. Daniel Fellows was part of FCSAA Academic Team
Model United Nations for 2023."
