Congratulations to the FCSAA Brain Bowl Student of the Month for January... Benjamin Smith at Florida Gateway College! Benjamin was nominated by his advisor, James Givvines.

 

Here is what James shared with us about Ben: "Benjamin is a student at FGC with a 4.0 GPA and is expected to graduate in 2021. Ben is a dual enrollment high school who captains his high school quiz bowl team. He is the high scorer for FGC's team (except for the one tournament he could only play half the rounds), scoring around 30-40 points per match. Ben is highly enthusiastic and really helps to push and encourage the other players in practice. He is the first one to the Zoom meetings for practice, often making it before the coach. I am honored to nominate Benjamin for this award."
