Help us congratulate our Brain Bowl Student of the Month for the second time... Ursula Kushner from State College of Florida - Manatee Sarasota! Ursula was nominated by her advisor, Justin McDonald.

Here is what Justin shared with us about Ursula: "At the State Tournament (3/24 & 3/25), Ursula was the top individual scorer with 69.44 PP20TUH, correctly answering 76 tossups and leading the team to finish 3rd place in the tournament. This caps a stellar performance all Spring semester: Ursula won an All-Star medal at the NAQT CCCT (2/24 & 25) and was the top-scoring individual player in terms of PP20TUH (99.57). In the Regional tournament (2/10), Ursula led the team to a 5-0 performance and was also the top-scoring individual player in the tournament with 101.67 PP20TUH.

Ursula is the SCF Brain Bowl team captain, displaying great leadership. She supported community events with the Brain Bowl Team, such as Trunk-or-Treat providing a safe Halloween activity for the community. She additionally participated in campus events organized by Brain Bowl including Black History Month Brain vs. Faculty Trivia Competition and Hispanic Heritage Month Brain vs. Faculty Trivia Competition."
