Congratulations to the Student Government Student of the Month for November... Sofia Bohorquez from Miami Dade College! Sofia was nominated by her advisor, Dandria Gray! Here is what Dandria shared with us about Sofia: 

"She is a NASA Community College aerospace scholar, Global Citizenship alliance fellow, Most Spirited award at Miami Dade College-Homestead Campus, SGA President, PINK Walk award recipient.

She is a dedicated volunteer who actively gives back to her community through various roles. She regularly volunteers with local elected officials, contributing her time and efforts to support their initiatives. Additionally, she participates in community service activities with local parks, helping to create a positive impact in the area. Her commitment extends to Miami Dade College's Homestead Campus, where she is an active member of the SGA Senate and frequently volunteers with school organizations. Despite balancing her academic responsibilities as a high school student, she continues to be a key contributor in both her campus and local community, demonstrating her passion for leadership and service."
