Student Government Student of the Month: May

Student Government Student of the Month: May

Congratulations to the Student Government Student of the Month for May... Beverly Bourgouin from College of Central Florida! Beverly was nominated by her advisor, Erina Gross. Here is what Erina shared with us about Beverly:

"I am pleased to recommend Beverly, whose leadership has had a transformative impact on our campus community. From the moment she joined our organization, Beverly exhibited an exceptional drive and vision. In her first year as Publicity Chair, she contributed to 14 campus events—a solid foundation that she quickly built upon. When she was elected President the following year, Beverly's strategic mindset and collaborative spirit helped increase that number to 24 events. Her ability to energize the team, foster meaningful partnerships, and elevate the organization’s visibility was nothing short of inspiring. Re-elected as President in her final year, Beverly continued this upward trajectory, leading the organization to host an impressive 30 events.

Beyond numbers, what truly sets her apart is her ability to unite people. She’s brought together diverse student groups, resolved conflicts with compassion and integrity, and cultivated a culture of inclusivity and excellence. Beverly’s legacy is one of growth, resilience, and impact. She is a role model to her peers, and her contributions will continue to shape our campus for years to come. I give her my highest recommendation without reservation."

Congratulations, Beverly! Thank you to Ms. Gross for nominating her for this recognition!
