Congratulations to our Publications Student of the Month for September... Amber Battillo from the College of Central Florida!! Amber was nominated by her advisor Melissa Schuck!

"Amber has been a consistent presence for The Patriot Press for multiple terms by producing written and visual pieces for the newspaper. Amber's work focuses on the arts and entertainment side of the community, giving our audience an in-depth and quality look on an often underappreciated side of our community. Amber can always be counted on to assist with all aspects of the publication.

Serving as a newly appointed Managing Editor, Amber has stepped up to mentor staff photographers and videographers, especially new members. Amber is always available to help members of The Patriot Press with developing the visual design side of their pieces, including mentoring other members with finding and selecting the appropriate visuals to accompany written pieces."
