Congratulations to the FCSAA Music Division Student of the Month for February… Armon Brooks from Eastern Florida State College! Armon was nominated by his director, Jon Oxford.

Here is what Jon shared with us about Armon: “Armon is a student at EFSC with a cumulative GPA of 3.78 and is expected to graduate in 2021. Armon recently won the FCSAA Student Artist Competition in the percussion category. He also represented EFSC's Music Dept at our Virtual College for a Day recruiting event on Feb 4th. He consistently exhibits a high level of engagement, optimistic outlook, and solid leadership amongst his peers. Armon leads EFSC's percussion ensemble chamber group. He is responsible for choosing repertoire and rehearsing the ensemble; preparing for a recording date in early March as well as a performance. He also regularly volunteers as a musician at his church, and participates in a variety of percussion performances around Brevard county.”
