Congratulations to the Music Student of the Month for January... Allen Venezio Jr from College of Central Florida!! Allen was nominated by the College of Central Florida music faculty. Here is what they shared with us about Allen:

"Allen is the CF Jazz Ensemble lead trumpet player and the wind symphony principal chair trumpet player. He also plays in the Minutemen Brass Quintet and the Broadway Orchestra. He is attending Winter Symposium in January and doing the competition. He has a 4.0 in all music classes, even after losing his grandfather and music mentor in mid-November. He also performed a flugelhorn solo on the fall brass recital. He is on the AA music pathway with the goal of earning a BM in trumpet performance.

Allen serves as Parliamentarian in our NAfME chapter and worked as an Administrative Assistant for our Honors Music Festival where we hosted over 200 high school band & choir students for a weekend. He also is a musical leader in all of the ensembles he participates in."
