Congratulations to the Brain Bowl Student of the Month for May... Griffin Lora from Santa Fe College! Griffin was nominated by his advisor, Asha Brunings. Here is what Asha shared with us about Griffin:

"Griffin Lora distinguished himself over the past two years as a superb Brain Bowl player, typically placing in the top 5 individual standings at tournaments. At the 2024 and 2025 FCSAA Brain Bowl Championship Tournaments, he won the Dave Ehlert High Point Award for achieving the highest number of points individually. His team placed third in 2024 and 2025 at the Florida State Championship Tournament. More than simply a superb player, Griffin served as team captain for the last two years. His leadership skills blossomed as he led his team through one tournament after another. He demonstrated his commitment by always being at practice and encouraging new players to join and excel.

Griffin exemplifies how Brain Bowl grows engaged, well-rounded students. He will be missed as he leaves to pursue his aspirations in higher education and beyond but his legacy will always be a part of our team."
