Meet our Model United Nations Student of the Month for November 2021, Sade Mitchell from Hillsborough Community College! Sade was nominated by her Model UN Advisor, Professor Eric Fiske. Here's what we learned about Sade: 

"Sade participated in two Model United Nations this fall: the Florida MUN and the Southern Regional MUN. She was our college's head delegate for FMUN and a leader for both. She represented two different countries and worked on four different issues at these conferences. Her outstanding work earned her Best Delegate awards at both the FMUN and the SRMUN conferences. FMUN was Sade's first in-person Model United Nations, and she represented her committee as a solo delegate. Although she won an award, it was her leadership at the SRMUN conference that was truly impressive. Here, she had a partner who was a less experienced delegate. Rather than focus solely on "winning," Sade took it upon herself to mentor the newer student and together they won a Best Delegate award."
