Student Government Student of the Month #3: February

Student Government Student of the Month #3: February

Another congratulation to Gisell Curbelo, Miami Dade College - Padron Campus, another one of our FCSAA Student Government Division Students of the Month for February! Gisell was nominated by her advisor, Bryan Cash.

Here is why Mr. Cash nominated Gisell for this award: "Gisell frequently visits the Student Life department to offer her help, even when she has tasks of her own to complete. Her excellence is demonstrated daily through her ability to put her campus' needs before her own. This last month, she was able to recruit 35 students to attend SGA's monthly service, when only 20 were needed. Although she and her fellow peers are in the process of applying to universities and scholarships, she manages to make the time for SGA and the Department of Student Life.

Gisell Curbelo has displayed excellent leadership qualities during her time as President of the Student Government Association at MDC Padrón Campus. She has dedicated her time to leading the student body by recruiting students to participate in a number of community service events. Gisell has utilized her position to inspire the students, even staff, of our campus. Not only has she placed tremendous efforts, going above and beyond in her work for SGA, she's also been able to do while balancing her academic and personal life."

Congratulations to this phenomenal student, the third of our three SGA Students of the Month for February. As always, thank you to Mr. Cash for nominating Gisell for this recognition.
