SGA Student of the Month: November

SGA Student of the Month: November

Congratulations to Kaitlyn MacLean, Pasco-Hernando State College, Spring Hill Campus, our Student Government Division Student of the Month for November.  She was nominated by her advisor Jessica White.

Here’s what Ms. White shared with us about Kaitlyn: “Kaitlyn serves as a ukulele playing, artistic, expressive SGA President! She is a PTK honor student who enjoys acting and wants to continue pursuing drama for life. Figuring out exactly what she wants to do “forever” is a bit daunting, so she has chosen to keep moving forward, working in excellence, as well as finding ways to try all of the opportunities!  Kaitlyn says, “I want to view all my options before I pick a career that’s right for me. I like the expression: 'If you love your job, you won’t have to work a day in your life.’”

Jessica continues, “A true role model for other students, Kaitlyn touts the benefits of studying and using the tutoring center on campus. She’s been a great figure showing how our students can balance opportunity with responsibility. She has lived in Spring Hill her whole life but thoroughly enjoys traveling for family vacations and especially enjoyed Germany. Kaitlyn has attended several FCSSGA events and finds them to be her most rewarding experiences. Her leadership positions on the campus have allowed her to freely and openly talk with the provost and campus representatives as the voice for the students. Her persistent and confident personality are helping her to pursue her own dreams of performance and art through leadership.”

Congratulations to this outstanding student, and our thanks to Ms. White for taking the time to nominate her for this recognition!
