Congratulations to Andrea Alvarez, Pasco-Hernando State College, for being chosen as one of the Student Government Division Students of the Month for February! She was nominated by her advisor, Laura Raposa.
Here is what Laura Raposa had to say about Andrea and her exquisite character: "Andrea initially got involved on campus in January of last year when a friend suggested she come to an event. Instead of just attending, Andrea jumped right in and started to help. As she learned more about SGA and our campus, Andrea got more involved and eventually ran and won the presidency for the 2018-2019 school year.
As a political science major, Andrea is very interested in all things government, law and Tallahassee. She has attended several FCSSGA conferences and is learning more about student government, legislative issues, and the voice that students have. I have no doubt that Andrea will be successful in her future academic endeavors as she heads to the University of Florida in the Fall."
Congratulations to this spectacular individual, Andrea Alvarez, and our thank you to Laura Raposa for nominating her as Student Government Student of the Month!
