The purpose of the Florida College System Publications Association is to bring students and advisors into an organization whose aims are to:

  • Provide a common ground for discussion of publications and mass media.
  • Provide responsible guidance to student publications to ensure their growth as a medium for the education of future citizens of a free society.
  • Provide continuity of advisory leadership to Florida College System Press Association (FCSPA) in a real spirit of cooperation and assistance.
  • To obtain the best thinking on problems in publications and mass communications and to share this thinking.
  • To promote a broad understanding of the role of advisors and assist them in gaining recognition as leaders in the campus community.
